December 12, I made arrangements with a beautician about a coming-od-age ceremony.
In this ceremony, people generally wear "KIMONO".
In this arrangement, I decided how dress my hair and how do make up.
First, I told to a beautician about make-up, I decided eyeshadow is yellowish-green because my KIMONO is yellowish-green and "OBI" is orange like a the evening sun. Second I decided my hair intend to be an up sweep.
I have hardly worn KIMNO, so to me wearing KIMONO is pleasures.

Im curious, what does this ceremony entail? Coming of age traditions are a good way to look at the core of a culture.

Almost people ware KIMONO and go to the ceremony. And we listen to a mayor's speech. But it is not duty.

It is a celebration and a class reunion, too.

This ceremony is performed January 10 this year. I look forward to this ceremony!!
